What was your design inspiration?

I've all the time cherished Kate Spade’s model. Timeless, elegant, stylish. I've wished to place collectively a styled photograph shoot with a few of her signature colours for some time now. I attempt to put a singular spin on all of my themes when I'm designing for a photograph shoot or my purchasers. This time, I added a black and white checked sample to the combination. It added a quaint nation contact to a classy model, and made it completely lovable!

Describe your flowers.

The flowers had been a mix of contemporary and silk blooms. The cake had two small cascades of contemporary fuschia tea roses, raspberry mini carnations, and hypericum berries. The silk preparations on the cake desk included silk blush peonies and roses in classic glass bottles. The silk floral centerpiece on the eating desk featured massive white magnolias, fuschia dahlias, blush peonies, and white jasmine blossoms. The attractive bridal bouquet and boutonniere had been created by Linda Silvestri, of Fleur Marriage ceremony Bouquets. They featured colourful plastic flowers, pink pearls, and black and white checkered ribbon to match our theme.

Describe your cake.

The fragile, single-tier cake was a do-it-yourself vanilla bean cake, frosted in vanilla buttercream, and coated in two small cascades of contemporary flowers.

I wished to maintain the bridal search for our mannequin, Sammy, very candy and easily elegant. She wore an understated good white robe, with an embroidered bodice, and organza flooring size skirt. We added additional fullness with a further crinoline. The black and white checkered shirt, tied excessive of the robe, added a relaxed sophistication to the general look. We had two totally different pairs of footwear, one being a glittery gold heel, and the opposite being an lovable pair of scorching pink and white polka dot pumps.

The colourful paper pinwheels that had been hanging above the cake desk had been created by Melissa Walker. The black and white pinwheels had been fabricated from printed sheet music, and the recent pink ones had printed facilities that learn “pop, fizz, clink”. Very whimsical and playful.

The attractive bridal bouquet and boutonniere had been created by Linda Silvestri, of Fleur Marriage ceremony Bouquets. They featured colourful plastic flowers, pink pearls, and black and white checkered ribbon to match our theme.

Describe the tablescape components.

The eating desk was draped in a scorching pink linen, with a putting black and white striped desk runner. The centerpiece was created with three gold and glass open lanterns of various sizes and enormous pillar candles. Surrounding the lanterns there have been silk magnolias, dahlias, peonies, and jasmine blooms. The desk settings consisted of sq. plates and bowls with a easy black design and black napkins. We added two Kate Spade embroidered dinner napkins on the place settings of the newlyweds. The vintage silverware and glassware are a part of the Spring Hill Historic House property assortment, as are the chairs on the eating desk.

The cake desk, which we positioned on the entrance porch of the Spring Hill residence, was coated in a shiny white linen and topped with a big black and white checkered tablecloth. We added the small do-it-yourself marriage ceremony cake on a glass pedestal plate, and cake knife set, tied with black and white polka dot bows. Additionally positioned on the desk had been fuschia napkins, gold-rimmed champagne flutes, and smooth silk florals. The small, vintage dessert plates and silverware are a part of the Spring Hill Historic House property assortment.
